Good News: Yang Chao won the National Champion
On January 1, 2009, as the first-prize in Chongqing division, Yang Chao took part in the final of M-ZONE National Hip-hop TV Competition and won the champion of single woman dancer
Yang Chao has got the second place of single woman dancer in 2007 M-ZONE National Hip-hop TV Competition. Her goal of taking the challenge of the competition this year was to show her talent to her father and to improve herself. And it turned out that Yang Chao realized her dream and won great honor to our school.
Yang Chao is a young teacher of Modern Dance Department . During several years’ work, she has got the second place of 2007 M-ZONE National Hip-hop TV Competition. In 2008’s competition, she realized her dream of championship and won the national champion of single woman dancer. Yang Chao has taken great efforts and born much hardship for thischampionship. Therefore, we are proud of Yang Chao, such an excellent teacher of our school.
As a Sichuan people who had experienced the earthquake on May 12, Yang Chao naturally integrated the experience of the earthquake into the dance and joined in the elements of hip-hop. It turned out that her performance was perfect. The dance fully interprets people’s panic suffered from the earthquake, struggling against the earthquake and longing for a bright future. The audience and judges were deeply moved by the piece of dance representing the strength of humanity through body language.
Yang Chao’s performance was the one morning the dead and encouraging the living. In the earthquake, we had lost much but strength and faith we had got would encourage us to get rebirth. Yang Chao’s performance conveyed the thought of all the teachers and students in SCCM, which we know there are ups and downs in our life, therefore we never fear of disasters and we will struggle against them; we are the young generation with strong will and we are confident the future of China will be much brighter.
