President Yang and his delegation joined panel discussion of Conference
Annual European Pop Music Education Forum was held in pop music academy in Mannheim on November, 20.This time the topic is “Future of Pop Conference”
In panel discussion, president Yang was invited to make a detailed introduction and profound analysis on pop music teaching and market development in China. From his point of view, China’s pop music education was at its first step and there was a huge market and high potential for pop music development in China. He hoped European counterparts would have deeper study and exploration on the issues of pop music teaching and marketing. And he extent his warm welcome to strengthening exchange and cooperation with European pop music colleges in a broad field.
Associate professor Mr. Leo Jibin from our Pop Music Singing Department made an introduction to pop music higher education situation and future trend in China to European counterparts. He also made an introduction to our pop music teaching. European pop music colleges were set up earlier than us and they have made some achievements in both teaching and scientific research. We should learn from them in an open mind.
After the meeting, representatives from European pop music colleges were very interested in our teaching and development foreground. All of them were looking forward to attending our Second China Pop Music Higher Education Forum held soon in our college.
