Friendly cooperative agreement signed between our academy and Fontys rock academy in Tilburg
On November 27, 2009, President Yang and his delegation visited the famous Fontys rock academy in Tilburg ,Holland.
Fontys rock academy is recognized as the first and best pop music college in Holland with much similarities with our college. The best subjects in Fontys rock academy are music performance, music commercial management and recording arts and so on. Many famous European singers, bands and music producers were graduated from Fontys rock academy. Mr. Gerard Boontjes (one of the founders of Fontys rock academy) visited our college in 2007. They joined our first forum on pop music education and Cup College competition. Since then, our two colleges began to cooperate with each other. As soon as President Yang and his delegation arrived at Tilburg, they received warm welcome and generous hospitality from Mr.Bertus and Mr. Gerard,who are in charge of Fontys rock academy.
After Mr.Bertus and Mr. Gerard made a detailed introduction of their academy which included teaching, teachers, management and so on to President Yang, President Yang and Mr. Bertus and Mr. Gerard had a study and negotiation on many issues concerning exchanges and cooperation between our two academy, and had serious discussion on the content of agreement oriented to friendly cooperation which would be signed soon. After the meeting, Mr. Bertus and Mr. Gerard showed President Yang and his delegation around their academy and observed teaching of vocal、instrument、band coaching、recording and other courses. President Yang were interested very much in their courses such as band coaching、recording and showed sincere admiration to the achievement Fontys rock academy had made within short 10 years after foundation.
On the morning of December 1, under the clear sky when the sun sprayed its sunshine on the beautiful and vigorous campus of Fontys rock academy, in the warm, friendly and earnest atmosphere, our two academy signed friendly and cooperative agreement.
